Exceptions and limits

• Recreational campfires are permitted in designated metal fire rings.
• Charcoal fires are permitted in designated metal fire rings and grills.
• Drought conditions continue, so fires must never be left unattended and must be extinguished completely.
• The historical ban interval ends August 23 because the NPS lift became effective August 24.
