Fee detail: $30 private vehicle for 3 days, plus $1 for the sunrise reservation if entering the summit between 3:00 am and 7:00 am. Recreation.gov cannot currently sell both in one transaction.

Exceptions and limits

  • Bring both: the reservation holder must present valid ID, the reservation confirmation email, and a park pass or a way to buy one.
  • Native Hawaiians conducting traditional cultural practices are welcomed and the entrance fee is waived under AIRFA.
