Release detail: Sold on arrival or in advance at Recreation.gov. Advance purchase is not available for commercial vehicles of any size.
Fee detail: $35 private vehicle, $30 motorcycle, $20 per person on foot or bicycle - each valid 1-7 days. Park annual pass $70. Non-US residents 16+ pay an extra $100 per person unless holding an Annual or America the Beautiful pass.
Exceptions and limits
- Children under 16 do not need an entrance pass.
- Reservations are not accepted or required to enter.
- No fee on the 2026 fee-free days.
- Entrance stations are credit/debit only, though Foothills and Kings Canyon visitor centers accept cash.
