Exceptions and limits

  • This is the same December 1 - April 15 winter rate as the late-2026 winter rule; the published window runs across the turn of the year, so it also covers January 1 - April 15, 2026.
  • The winter rate is a flat $10 whether you arrive by private vehicle, motorcycle, or on foot or bicycle.
  • An America the Beautiful pass, a Lassen Annual Pass, or a Senior/Access/Military pass covers the winter entrance fee too.
  • The February 16, 2026 fee-free day falls inside this window and waives the fee.
