Alaska Seaplanes runs multiple daily flights to Gustavus from Juneau. The Alaska state ferry typically stops in Gustavus twice weekly from Juneau in summer. Entire park; the developed area is Bartlett Cove, reached via the town of Gustavus

      • This applies to private boaters only. Visitors arriving on a cruise ship, tour vessel, charter, or by air need no vessel permit of their own.
    • Cruise ship entry permits are held: A passenger on a cruise ship or tour vessel does not apply for, buy, or carry any NPS permit.

An America the Beautiful pass is not accepted here. It covers the entrance fee only. It does not cover a timed-entry permit, a vehicle reservation, a parking tag, a shuttle ticket, or an activity permit.
