Release detail: Campground reservations are handled by the same concessioner as the buses and open as early as December 1 of the prior year.
Fee detail: NPS does not publish the 2026 Teklanika nightly rate. The Tek Pass 'costs the same as a camper bus ticket each year' ($33.50 in 2026) and should be bought per person.
Exceptions and limits
- Driving to Tek requires a three-night minimum stay.
- Once at the campground your vehicle must stay parked at your site until you leave for good.
- Tent campers arriving by camper bus have no minimum stay.

Though nearly all park visitors driving private vehicles must turn around at Mile 15 (Savage River), Tek campers are an exception to that rule. ... the trade-off for being able to drive farther into the park than most visitors is that you must make a three-night minimum stay.
